Easiest Ways To Install Freemcboot On Your PS2 To Play Games Via USB

CODEBREAKER METHOD Requirements::
 (1)flash drive or ps2 memory card adapter with sd card
 (2)freemcboot noobie package rar file
 (3)prince of persia collection with codebreaker inside
 (4)codebreaker file
 (5)pc
 (6)openps2loader download it at http:// sksapps.com/opl/ downloads/ OpenPS2Loader_0.8.zip
 (7)8mb ps2 memory card (the one used to save game)
 now let's begin::



 (1)download the freemcboot noobie pack.rar,codebreaker files.zip and open ps2 loader.zip to ur pc.
 (2)get a flash drive 2gb preferably or any size.insert it to ur pc,open 'my computer' locate the flash drive then format it to FAT32 format only.
 (3)locate the freemcboot noobie pack.rar,decompress it and extract the foldler ''INSTALL'' and the file free_mcboot.elf to the root of the flash drive.
 (4)locate the codebreaker.zip file decompress it then extract only i repeat only,the ulaunchELF.cbs file to the root of the flash drive.
 (5)locate the openps2loader.zip file decompress then extract only the OPNPS2LD.ELF file to the ''INSTALL'' folder you extracted to the flash drive.then delete HDLOADER.ELF from the folder.
 (6)safely remove the flashdrive the next step is on the ps2.
 (7)insert the flash drive to the usb port
 (8)insert the 8mb mem card to it's port
(9)power on the ps2
 (10)insert the prince of persia disc,after it has loaded,locate the codebreaker then start it.after it has loaded remove the disc.
 (11)in the codebreaker enter ''device manager'' the select usb stick icon.
 (12)you will see the codebreaker.cbs file you extracted earlier,press X on your pad to highlight it then press 'triangle' select copy,now copy it to the 8mb memory card once done.switch off ps2.
 (13)reinsert the flashdrive to your pc,now delete the codebreaker.cbs file.
 (14)open the codebreaker.zip uncompress it then extract the pelican.bin file to the root of the flash drive.
 (15)make sure the 8mb mem card is inserted,your flash drive is inserted,power on ps2,reinsert prince of persia disc and launch codebreaker.
 (16)now SMS will launch instead of codebreaker.
 (17)Press start on your pad to bring up SMS menu.
 (18)Select browser settings and scroll all the way down.
 (19)Now highlight Exit to and press X (CROSS) until it's option is mc0:/BOOT/ BOOT.ELF
 (20)Press (TRIANGLE) once to bring it back to the main menu.Now select Exit SMS
 (21)another app ulaunchelf will boot,it's a file browser for psc,scroll to mass press 'O' on your pad locate the free_ mcboot.elf and press 'O' to launch it.
 (22)freemcboot will launch,choose multi- install,i'd recommend this to normal install.it'll ask to format 8mb mem card,press ok,then select install,sit back and relax as it installs when it's done,just eject the prince of persia disc and select launch freemcboot. That's all,you'll see 4 apps on the ps2 browser menu,i.e esr,ulanchelf,openps
2loader and sms. Ulanchelf:this is ps2's file browser you can then use it to install freemcboot to other 8mb mem cards,you don't need codebreaker anymore openps2loader:this is used to play games via usb esr:it's used to play ps2 backup discs sms:simple media system,it can play almost every type of media there is i.e mp3,avi,3gp,divx etc just put them on your usb. N.B-if you make use of an incompatible flashdrive freemcboot will just show blank screen.this is because ps2 uses usb v1.1 and not 2.0 that's why you have to even format the flashdrive to fat32 format.if you don't get a compatible flashdrive then you'll have to get a ps2 memcard adapter.
